Hello all. just wondering if anyone has tried superformance in an 8x57 mauser,I use varget now pushing a 150 grain interlock but I would like to build a new load with a heavier bullet (170-190 grain region)and thinking superformance might be worth a try. I will also take any info offered using superformance in a 204 and a 240 weatherby. Thanks

Superformance Powder
This powder is recomended for specific cartridges and specific bullet weights in those cartridges to quote Hogdon, Its not made fore eveything but where it works it works real well. I checked the hogdon manual and superformance is not listed for 8mm, 204,223, but it is used in 22-250, 243, and 6mm rem, with some bullets in each cartridge.
I have used it in my 6mm rem with a 75 grain vmax with good results but ion 70 grain bullets I get pressure signs early in load development
Hope this helps

I have found it to be just a bit slower than H4350, so that's the data I use. Just because a load isn't listed doesn't mean you can't make your own.
