About 40 years old... excellent condition. 12 gauge 2 & 3/4 inch chambers, 30 inch full and modified fixed chokes, 13 & 3/4 inch pull. Initials carved in the stock close to the action and trigger guard... you don't really notice that...

I know the chokes can be opened up to Skeet 1 and Skeet 2 and the forcing cones lengthened and steel shot can be used. I charge $180 to do that.

Thanks for that info... I searched the EE with no luck... I thought 12 or 1300 might be fair... it's a beautiful old design.

That one is in pretty good shape. I like the long tang guns and prefer the pre 1989 guns with the old style ejectors that don't have as much tendency to crack and break!

Broadways usually start around $1400 if they're in good shape but hunting guns are usually a couple of hundred bucks less than that.

Shortened stocks kill values as do initals carved into it. Otherwise looks very good condition with lever right of center. Lengthening the cones and openening the chokes is really going to devaluate it. I wouldn’t fire steel shot no matter the chokes on the old soft soldered thin barrels.

I have done many alterations on Superposed guns for steel shot use... non have had a problem. It is the buyers choice if he wants the alteration done... it all depends on what he is going to use the gun for. The initials are quite inconspicuous and if you are going to use the gun - don't affect the value much... just as the pad install at 13 and 3/4". If it fits you it fits you... This is not much as a collector gun as it is a desirable - quality older Superposed... meant to be used.

Considerable interest in the EE. It has sold.

The barrels were a bit heavier at the muzzle than some I have measured... it's going to be a great hunting gun...
