tagged her monday morning in Alberta's wmu338 Nice addition to the freezer after the bull elk i bagged the weekend before. Hoping to fill another doe tag and a buck tag, as well as the wifes buck and two doe tags this coming weekend

used a 270win with 130 grain federal Fusions.

Fusion bullets hit very hard. great for deer . i should have taken pics of the exit hole

I filled both my suplementals with yearlings one was a little buck with about 1" nubs, too small to see under the fur

get them small and tasty, nice

I have figgured out over the years the easiest way to drag them is to have a short piece of rope in your pocket.

Its part of my hunting essentials package, tags, toiletpaper, knife, short piece of rope, oh and gun with matching ammo.

don't go out without them.

Nice "4 point" you got there BIG guy.

When I have the good fortune to be dragging a doe or a buck out of the woods, I tie a rope around the neck and put a half hitch around the nose. Then they are "halter broke".
