Supply Drop: Gunwerks Rifles! New SKUHL Rifle System!!
After a year of anxiously waiting, the new Gunwerks SKUHL dangerous game rifle has arrived, and it is a work of art.

Dangerous game deserves a purpose-built rifle system. Gunwerks designed the SKUHL for ultimate reliability and quick target acquisition in close quarters when shots count. While accuracy isn't the hallmark of a dangerous game rifle. Gunwerk's set out to build a rifle optimized for close quarters, dangerous game hunting, but also meeting their precision standards - Mission accomplished.

The flax fiber incorporated into the advanced carbon fiber layup of the SKUHL stock blends the look and feel of traditional wood stock rifles and the technological advantages of modern composites.

A first for Gunwerks, they've employed a laser engraved buffalo and bear skull motif as an homage to the game it's made to pursue. The action body, barrel shank, muzzle and bolt shroud all bear these designs.

Those are pretty sweet! A little steampunk maybe lol. Did they change the finish on the scopes? They look different. A couple marks on the wood and metal. Is that intentional? Wow these sentences are really short.

I see the 3-18 scopes version is gone. Are you potentially getting bare rifles in?

Definitely a touch of steampunk going on with the fusion of antique and state-of-the-art, carbon meets wood...they are definitely impressive to see in person. The scope finish is the same - we have been using a new macro camera lens to catch more intricate details on some of these rifles and have to adjust our post-production filters. The wood and metal are intentionally distressed to give them a weathered/tarnished look. Bare SKUHL rifles are not available, yet...uncertain if they will do that. These beauties took over 12 months to order. Hopefully the next ones will be a bit sooner.
