Supplyer recomendation needed.

Everybody has Varget. Pistol powder can be had, but you have to look for it. I just bought 3lbs of blue dot, 400 44mag brass and 500 240gr component bullets, and the shipping came to $28 from budget shooter supply. From BC to Ont., I don't consider that to be too bad. Best is to buy local and not pay shipping, but you have to be quick. As far as powder goes, Higginson might as well close up shop, they have nothing even when other stores seem to have no problem getting the common powders

I should say at a reasonable price, I can get it locally for 46.99, just painful is all. Last 8 pounds were between 40-41.

LE Baron has been good in Toronto and I just walked in and picked up 2LBs titegroup today(was the last two). I saw they still have some longshot in stock. not sure about shipping as powder is explosive which usually can only be shipped by canpar and thus expensive.

I was just wondering whou in your opinion have any pistol powder supply here, and preferably free shipping within Canada?

They probably sell more powder then all the other shops in Canada combined. They supply many of the retailers in Canada with powder....
They currently have a decent selection as well.

I just ordered an 8lb keg of HP-38 from Budget Shooter Supply(a site sponsor). Should arrive via Canpar, on Monday. Shipping to my door in Ontario was under $15.00. HST: about $35.00. Total cost: about $310. Henry seems to have a pretty good variety and supply of powders in, right now. Worth looking into.

not even close. Hummasons, Lawrys, Rainer`s are way bigger and are real Distributors.

So they are lying on their webpage then?

Higginson has a ton of powders listed, followed by an out of stock notice below 2/3rd's of them. He seems to be out of stock on even the most common powders that everyone else has plenty of.
