What are you guys using for positional shooting, especially barricades? I'm looking to try the Armageddon large Fat Bag for under arm support. I already use an OG Gamechanger and have a few slings namely a couple TAB cuff slings and a Shadowtech Enhanced loophole sling. Sometimes I like to shoot slung up, sometimes I run the loophole in a patrol carry tightened up (my preference when shooting off the gamechanger). What type of positional support bags is everyone using? What do you like and not like for various positions/situations?

Also, any experience with the SAP POS sling? I like the idea of the cuff tightening under strain, rather than working loose like the TAB slings can do if you move around too much.

At the local matches I ran and the few I have been to the support bags are becoming less and less popular. I dont think I have used one the past couple of seasons.

The Wiebad pump pillow is the one I did use for awhile. Armageddon Gear is GTG though and I am sure it would be fine as well.

The TAB pinnacle sling is what I have, again something I dont use much anymore.

I use a generic "pump pillow" that a buddy of mine made for me. For most props/barricades I'll have a pump pillow clipped to my belt and I'll use a Gamechanger up front although I used a Saracen bag a bunch this weekend and I think it's better than a Gamechanger in all but a few very specific situations.

As far as slings go, I use a Shadowtech SS Loophole but I only use it to either carry my rifle slung (patrol carry) from stage to stage or to clip onto my belt for stages where I'm shooting standing off a tripod and only in field matches at that, as you have a bit more time to setup.

I now only bring 2 bags to PRS matches: a WieBad Mini Fortune Cookie and a rear bag (lately I've been using the Traust rear bags).

It's best to keep it simple. The guys carrying 3+ bags are usually the ones struggling to find a good position on a prop and timing out before getting all your shots off. You can be really effective with minimal gear, and it will make you more efficient.

For a sling I use the Rifles Only bungee sling - great sling. I rarely sling up for any stages though, it's usually too time consuming to shoot a stage utilizing a sling. I use it mostly just for carrying my rifle throughout the day.
