I'd love to know more about this, as I will write my MP to stress the importance of effective safety devices. This was likely at an event known as "Rampart Day", held at the Stittsville Shooting Ranges and took place May 27th, ahead of the CANSEC happening on the 28th and 29th.
Those were CADEX rifles on the 300m line. From memory, she's shooting the .308, while the one at Bench #3 was a 6.5 Creedmoor.
Multiple Defense industry representatives come in to showcase some of their wares to the CAF and Law Enforcement. This event is not open to the public. There were multiple ARs with suppressors, mainly showcasing the optics if memory serves well. They were shooting run of the mill ball ammo or frangible ammo if shooting steel at closer range. With a lot of firearms being tested at once and discussions still being necessary further back, I'm sure the cans were appreciated by all.
Those two pictured were Cadex rifles. Great to impress someone that never fired by providing relatively small targets at 300m.Could be, looks more like a Tikka T3x TAC A1 & Sako TRG 62 A1with Steiner glass.
300 BLK will cycle with subs but for sure the rounds in that video were supersonic 556.The action is cycling so no…
Cans would be appreciated by most CDN shooters too. With a lot of firearms being tested at once and discussions still being necessary further back, I'm sure the cans were appreciated by all.
