K98 is right on, its a house brand of the Cooey model 60. There is some variations of the model 60 but for the most part your parts are interchangable.Cooey made many house brands for the likes of Woodwards(Mercury),Eatons (Ranger),Ashdowns(Rabbit),Macleods(Hiawatha),Northern Hardware(Hawkeye). Eatons likely sold the most product under the house names of Eatonia and Ranger. A quality product of early Canadiana and suprisingly valued very little-----Cowboy

I have a semi auto .22 SURESHOT no serial number. Its my fathers and he thinks its about 40yrs old. I last used it when I was really young hunting rabits with my grand father. The action is jammed, I took it apart and found small metal peice that is bent, it connects from the barrel to the inside of the action. I want to get it fixed and registered. I will search the web for info. on cooey see if I find this gun in particular.

If anyone else has one or knows how to fix it etc. let me know.
And thanks for previous info. on it be a cooey.

Thanks

I called to get registered today they told me its actually a winchester because cooey didn't make the semi auto version. Its registered now I just have to get it fixed find the scope and I will have a nice little gun for target practice.
