SureFire 918FA on a REM 14"

SureFire is top-of-the-line, hands down. Get one for you 870 14", you wont have any problems...the lamp is designed to withstand SEVERE punishment. Just apply a light film of oil to lamp/bezel so fouling comes off super easy when cleaning.

If anything were to happen, you'd probally have some sort of warrenty, and SureFire would make it right.

Been thinking of getting one for my Mossberg M590A1 14"

ADK,

I believe that's the 6v version.

On another note, though, does anyone know if there's a 6v to 3v conversion available, so we can use the lights on the 12" guns?

Yes there are 3V conversions for them. The Surefire system is pretty adaptable. Just change the bulb and body and you are ready to go.

Arwen,

Ah, just the answer I was looking for. Would you happen to know where to get one of said body conversions? I would think that it would simply be a body with two male threaded portions on either end, and not terribly long.

Also, do you sell the SureFire forends?

I have the Sure Fire Forend in stock, however they are all 6V. I will have to see about the 3V stuff.

Arwen,

Cool, thanks. Let me know if you find anything out - I don't want to ruin a perfectly good bezel on a 6v version when a 3v light won't get damaged.

here is mine, it is the 6v model on 14 in barrel. i have done a 3v model out of a 6 v tube, turning ONLY the tube on a lathe as the compagny didn't have the 3 volt tube anymore, sold few year's ago to a member here. 3 volt is good for 12in barrel but even with proper bulb, poor light compare to the 6v model, no free lunch lolll

i know how to make one, mine is sold to a CGN member but can't remember who ?? It's not that hard to lathe, only time to have the good lenght, (headspace the battery loll) You CUT and tread the back, not the front with the bulb. If you have a tube, i can do it but i expect about 2hours of work...
Let me know (if you order a 6v tube, don't forget to order a 3v bulb)

Respectfully

Marc
