Does anyone know where I can find one in Canada? It's the cap you screw on your forend to replace the light assembly, to save on wear and tear at the range. On SF's 'site it's the A11.
 
I bought one at 911 Supply in Calgary a few years ago. If they don't have one in stock, I'm sure they can get one quick enough. I also recall seeing them at the Shooting Edge in Calgary on occasion.

The problem is that, this is probably an "ITAR" item, and will require
a export permit? Go figure :(
 
No, the a11 isn't ITAR, it is just a low demand item that doesn't seem to get stocked by most dealers. I got a lot of blank stares when I was looking for one. But 911 got one for me quick enough. They're very good to deal with and really know their SureFire stuff. 911supply.ca, or 403-287-1911.
 
Your probably right, a quick check of some online stores down south and most won't ship it outside the US? its a $23 dollar item? go figure
Surefire is a company with what seems to be "ITAR" restrictions on its products.
 
Many of thheir products are definitely restricted. :( Which is a huge pain in the ass for sure. They make some very nice railed forends that we will never see up here, sadly,,,

Will do. krausb, yes 911 Supply seem like good people. Love talking to people who know WTF they're talking about and soooo much better when they have it in stock.
 
Just got it today and fits perfectly.
