First let me begin by saying no muzzle device will do everything perfectly, I have tried many various brakes & hiders on various platforms 5.56/.300Blackout/7.62x51/.338LM / some worked & some didn't work so well. During the summer I had the opportunity to T&E the WarComp in 5.56 (10.5 &14.5in )&7.62x51 (14.5 & 16.1in) frankly I was impressed with the performance. It definitely eliminated the flash & controlled the muzzle climb effectively. The standard Surefire brakes are notoriously loud in short barrel carbines & not pleasant for shooters next to you, running a 10.5in carbine in a shoot house with a SF brake is not pleasant / unless you are using a SF Warden blast diffuser ( for those that doubt their intended purpose/have never shoot in enclosed spaces or up against solid walls ). When they become available on the commercial market they will be a success ( SF usually does well anyways ), how the various entities on CGN will judge the performance of the WarComp will be interesting...
