Sureshot & HV

I`m a newbie here, so pardon me if this has been asked before. Have a circa 1947 Sureshot(i.e. Cooey) and would like to know if you can use HV. My guess is, to be on the safe side, not to. Thanks for the info.

HV ammo won't hurt your rifle. A Sureshot is a Model 60, I think. Cooey made hordes of 'em for Eaton's and Simpsons, eons ago.

You can use just about any and all 22 ammo in a cooey

Just to clarify, a sure shot could be a repeater or a single shot just as eatonia or ranger etc. could be. These were just the store brand names.
