Possession of body armour is fully legal in BC by those who hold a valid Firearms License.
Start here: http://www.bclaws.ca/EPLibraries/bclaws_new/document/ID/freeside/00_09024_01#section2
The Act states in Section 2 that:
We fall under Section 2 (2) (c). Now refer to the regulations:

In simple terms, we in BC are allowed to legally possess body armour if we hold a valid PAL.
If they are NIJ rated level II or IIA, here is the resistance info you're looking for (page 17): www.ncjrs.gov/pdffiles1/nij/223054.pdf. In short it states 9mm, 40S&W, and .357 Mag (level II only, IIA is a lower rating).
Keep in mind the disclaimer that these are for novelty only!

What will it stop if you put all 3 on![]()

Shipping was really reasonable too considering the weight! It used to be legal if you had a firearms lience.. so Gun owners cant own it now so if I goto the range and get hit by a stray bullet (agian) I can't wear something to protect my self silly laws...![]()
