Surplus Firearms 2017 edition - WHERE ARE THEY?

Howdy, all.

Been looking for this:

All the usual places here in Edmonchuk don't have it. 'That's fine" thinks I. "I'm going to Montana/Wyoming for the eclipse. Every grocery store down there will have it."

Checked every grocery store magazine rack we drove past in 5000+ km and totally struck out. I could order it on line, but they want $25 USD for shipping, which is abject goddamned madness, particularly for a $10 USD magazine.

So has anyone here seen a copy in their neighbourhood?

Have you checked the Edmonton South Side Save on Foods? That's where I used to find them....

Admittedly, haven't bought an issue in a year or so...

I paid the shipping (shudder) as I couldn't find a copy ANYWHERE - either Canada or the US.

Completely sold out.

I did get the back issues online download for a much, much more reasonable cost.

Haven't tried Wallyworld or the very, very southside SaveOn. I'll put 'em on the list.

The .pdf versions are an option, but I really prefer paper, 'cause I'm old and square and stuff. Could buy 'em and print them, I suppose...

If any of you bump into a copy out there, please pick one up for me. I'll cover the cost plus shipping and a little extra for your time and trouble.

Sadly gone. A young woman attempted to get it going again a few years ago. Reopened next door to the original location even, but couldn't make a go of it.

They say print is dead. Could be they're right.

Wal-Mart in Winnipeg on Regent has a couple different surplus magazines.
Nothing new I already didn't know, but I just leafed through quickly at the magazine rack.0

"Military surplus" has been a better magazine than "surplus" imo. "Surplus" has only been out a year, but correct me if I'm wrong. Still enjoyed it!

Rifleman magazine has a ww1 special edition out too.

I was surprised to see the surplus magazine at my local convenience store, they usually only have tactical and hunting gun magazine. My sister bought it for me for my birthday but since she didn't remember the title she bought me all the gun magazines that were in the store. I wish I could have seen the face of the cashier.
