Surplus Garands from South Korea westrifle.com

it would have to be competitive with the brand new M1a rifles ( norinco ) otherwise i would lean to the norinco

are they complete arsenal refurbs ? .... that may help the price ! but if their just as is, you never know what your getting into ...maybe just a parts gun

I like how it is developing. Usa was willing to buy as it and we in Canada want them in perfect shape.

Not everyone. I mostly just want functional. Obviously not beat to death.. But if they're rough, and priced accordingly, a guy could maybe pick up a couple, or more.

But of course, good to very good condition would be nice..

I am sure there is going to be a mix of good and bad. We can not be happy 100 % of the time

If there were a thousand or three of these garands coming in, Looking at previous prices on garands when they were numerous, factoring in inflation, demand, and what I've been told is a "fair" price, I'd guess 500-600$ for absolute beaters, 1100$ for mint to extremely good condition, and around 800-900 for good condition shooters. This is my personal guess, take it with a grain of salt.

190k rilfes??? that is a huge amount (if you had to purchase all of them) & would definitely flood the Canadian Market. I think the price would have to reflect condition. If prices were similar to the CMP prices in the US for an equal quality rifle I don't think you would have trouble selling them. If you can't inspect the rifles before purchasing them, it is somewhat of a crap shoot. I don't know too much about the firearms business, but I do know how other business's work, time value of money, finances tied up in inventory etc, etc.

I'd personally be willing to pay $500 or less for a shooter grade rifle & $1000 to $1200 for a super nice, numbers matching rifle. Although lower prices are always appreciated! Although as someone else pointed out, you probably don't want this to end up like the RC K98's.

Best of luck & I hope to see these available for sale shortly!!

Are you trying to tell me we don't live in a perfect world? WTF? ;)

I'd still be in for a shooter for the right price! I'm not expecting to see these for the $250 some are suggesting though.

Thank you !!! You can see EXACT rifle when you buy it on our site. As far as I know TEC does not do it. Not many people do it in Canada :)

Lets get back to our topic :)

Or the way WESTRIFLE has their guns advertised? Lol, check out their site! They sent me exactly what was in the pictures.

In the first post, Sergey was asking what we were willing to pay for one, even though he wasn't sure of their condition.

I am going to agree with mileageman. $500 or less for something that functions in shooter grade and a little more for something in very nice condition with matching numbers. The lower the price, the quicker they will sell.
Less than $500 and the barrel is shot out? Well, you have a decent parts kit and the lovely task of finding a decent barrel.
Buy the entire 190K, you know they will sell if priced accordingly! :)

But IF they do come in, and it is through Westrifle. We will get to see what they look like before laying OUR money down. Just like TEC. Maybe better, Sergey and the boys take multiple angles of many of the guns. That's all I'm saying. Till that day comes, just throw out a number you'd be willing to work with so they can decide whether or not they'd like to invest a few wheelbarrows full of cash in this.
Cheers! Workday's over! Here at least.
