For unknown Surplus. $250. Could be damaged stock, sights, poor bore, maybe even unsafe. These would be Rifles tossed in a pile.
Rifles, used, but cleaned. Stored reasonably well. Good Stocks, Very Good Bore, No Damage. $400-$500. Maybe a 'Hand Select" option
Rifles from a Crate, stored in a warehouse. Un-issued. $800
I am going to agree with mileageman. $500 or less for something that functions in shooter grade and a little more for something in very nice condition with matching numbers. The lower the price, the quicker they will sell.
Less than $500 and the barrel is shot out? Well, you have a decent parts kit and the lovely task of finding a decent barrel.
Buy the entire 190K, you know they will sell if priced accordingly!![]()
Sergey,
I know this is a Garand thread, but do you have info on any M1 carbines being released as well?
Heard they already went to the highest bidder. And it wasn't someone based in Canada.
Yes but that bidder can not pick them up because of Obamas order![]()

WESTRIFLE.COM QUALITY AMERICAN M1 GARAND RIFLES![]()
At least I was discussing the availability of the carbines when someone else asked. And then westrifle said the carbine bidder could not pick them up either.
Maybe westrifle thought I was discussing the rifles, not the carbines.
