Surplus Garands from South Korea

P&S had fair-good condition Garands for 650 ish a few years back. I wouldn't pay any more than that if these are in similar condition.

I spoke with people wanting to sell the rifles so yes I know what they offered 600 per rifle not worth it that's before export and shipping. You would get 1 good rifle out of 6 bad ones as well so it's not worth it. They also wanted you to buy at least 500,000 rifles at 1 time as well so most dealers went pff nope.

Unbeknownst to team America, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il was supplying information on a large surplus of Garand M1 Rifles for export through Hollywood actors, Alec Baldwin, Matt Damon, Liv Tyler, Samuel L. Jackson and of course haha49.

Don't forget his best bum buddy, Dennis Rodman.

Thank you, now I understand why we bumped into haha49 in that part of the world

I've spoken with people who wanted to sell them they sent photos started talking about price I forward the info looked into costs went not cost effective to bring in for the amount of money to put up front not worth doing. They want to sell all the firearms in 1 shot if they can do it not batch by batch so they're looking into 1 big deal instead of a bunch of smaller ones. 500,000 rifles at 600.00 each is allot of upfront money for something that is in rough shape so it wasn't worth going to Korea to look at due to the price point alone. Your not going to make enough money and it takes to long to sell them all plus you have to refurbish all of them it's just not worth it.

Give me a break. Not even the Americans would buy up 500,000 (there isn't even 500k Garands in Korea for sale) Garands in one shot for $600 a piece. Do you have any idea how ludicrous that sounds?

This is all Unicorn poo. Fabled creature that sh1ts rainbows. This stuff comes from the same book of fairy tales in my opinion. Now if theres a boat load of parts coming from there thats a very plausible scenario.

Yes, but they have to be in mint condition and the price point needs to be $299.00......would be a nice touch if Santa brought them too?

Don't you get it? The more people post and whine about this the more it's likely to happen. Maybe the garands will make it here at 300 posts so keep on posting. (Sarcasm)

I would say if you were going to buy 500,000 M1 garands they will be about 3$ ea purchase point. by the time the palm grease is spread around, they are sorted, pkged, shipped ,landed in Canada and ready to be sold, into them for perhaps 2-300$ that is a tremendous investment in capital and time
