Just wanted to mention to all that I held one the other day and people this one particularly was beaten up to a pulp looked like there was no care at all for it. Scratched up and honestly can’t believe they would sell them for that price, they are advertised as in good to excellent shape, I beg to differ. Just thought I would put that out there to those who order them without seeing them!

G4C gun store, I don’t blame them for the price of the rifle they are great to deal with.

I bed to differ, a hand me down rifle at the end of its service life costing 200 under New Retail Prices of a NR which is a better model is definitely a suppliers fault to blame with,
they bought them too high and now are trying to pawn them off as collectors.
This however doesn't reflect on G4C directly, but the whole shipment in general.
1300-1500 even id buy one. 2500, HARD pass
:(

I was phoning around yesterday and I think the highest price I got was $2700

Yeah that's a $1,500 gun AT MOST. Y'all getting gouged by NS. Yeah it's a cool gun gun but I don't want to be part of this. The more we buy these the more they will gouge whatever comes In next

Couldn't pass up at TNA's Black Friday sale. Getting a 18.6" to go with it as well to make it NR.

For surplus, it has the obligatory markup for being sum-what "rare".

The math I use to justify my purchase of the x95 is thus;
"Back in the day" price for an sks, $99 Today's price, $499 give or take.

So, a surplus that could (should) have been $600 now most likely will go 4x that. Not real math but today's Justin inflation/tacticool tax/dearth of semi NR options/increased valuations of any surplus rifles makes more sense.
NS are known for hiking prices on exclusives (m10x anyone) but so do other importers. Supply and demand. If NS thinks they can offload all of their shipment at this price and do, can you blame them? Hell, I used to import stuff from Shenzen for $1ea and sell em for $20 all day long for years and no one batted an eye.
Plus I doubt we will see any more of these krinky type of military weapons anywhere else after they are sold. I have my fingers crossed I don't end up with a beat up footrest version.

I bought one and the chassis is battered to hell but the internals, albeit dirty, are pristine and the guts of the weapon are like new. I think they're worth every penny seeing how they aren't very old, haven't been shot much (unless you somehow end up with a rifle used as a training gun), and have the most desirable fore end in the entire civilian tavor market.
