Surplus x54R?

The stuff is out there and does go on sale for good prices, but never when you want it to. Wholesale sports had it on sale 3 years ago Russian surplus 880/crate for 200 bucks. We picked up a dozen crates between 3 of us.

I know its easier said than done because of cash issues, but when it goes on sale you gotta grab lots. Its highly probable that the price will not go down.
 
I ordered one too. Cancelled it today as shipping was $60. So the "sale" price is no sale at all as shipping used to be included. Might actually be $10 more.

All cans would have to be opened and each round would have to be etched. To me it's also a safety concern taking some metal out of the side of a cartridge to print UN propaganda on it.
I just won't shoot surplus while it's cold cause my technique or tear down spray with hose, air compress dry, oil reassemble isn't very conducive to Winter. I own my house so no bathtub use for me.

yeah shipping was ~$27 for me so let it ride . I found the process rather deceptive after the fact. shipping used to be included or provide a quote prepurchase. I had 2 days to cancel but did not as still lowest around but certainly no deal. taxes in 299 became ~368ish..
Meh my Mosin's and SVT's will be fed for years...
