I used to go to surplusrifle.com fairly often a few years ago. Went to look up an old article on chamber adapters last eve and found that the site is now gone.
...obviously our local gurus have sufficient amassed knowledge to not need any other site for learnin'! I was looking for an old article they had (one of many great readin' gems) ht tp://surplusrifle.com/reviews/tigerloudhousecat/index.asp

Sadly that site seems to have disappeared a couple years ago. Good news though (or bad if you removed your own website) in that much of it is in archives. An example? The original article I was looking for:

If there's any other folks out there who "lost" cool trivia, you may find it again this way.
 
I bought the cd's with all their content when Mr Mangrum first announced he was shutting down the site. It disappeared for good within the last two years. It was an old site but it helped build my interest in milsurps before I found CGN.
