I know anti organizations are already trying to get their supporters to do it, so we need to push back.

The results of this will no doubt be published, and used against us.

It is a formal survey for a university project, however a lot of these questions are very pointed towards cougar protection.

They do ask if you’re a hunter – so think carefully on how you want to answer that. Because you know, it will be used as well to lean findings.

I'm a hunter of 57 years experience and I filled it out essentially saying leave the *uckers alone.

I've seen evidence of people shooting cougars and bears too for that matter "just 'cause" and I don't like it one bit.

I know you love hunting are very protective as am I, but sabotaging someone's thesis project that costs an impoverished university student thousands of out-of-pocket dollars is just wrong.
Do the right thing and speak to our government representatives!
Hunting is good for wildlife and people, good science supports this, don't go making bad science and making people think that hunters undermine the willingness to practice conservation.

The "project" is being directly funded & supported by two very well known anti-hunting organizations.
As a consequence, this "student" has put themself directly into the contest IMO.
