Survivor .410/45 Colt bored out to 454?

Im really thinking of getting a survivor and was tossing around the idea of having it bored out to also accept 454 casull for some serious knock down power when needed.

Is there a way of finding out if the H&R will handle the higher pressures of the 454? 10,000psi for the 45 and 40,000 for the 454 is a big jump.

for what ever reason I'm thinking that someone also makes a 444marlin / 44mag / 410 combo ....... if it exists it would be a heck of a lot safer combination .

unless h&r also chambered the same rifle in 454 , I would consider it a bomb waiting to remove as much of your hand as possible ..... it is a huge jump in pressure .

A fair amount of argument on the internet if the survivor can even handle full power .45 colt handloads.

Last time I checked the survivor was also built on the SB1 receiver, which is NOT their magnum reciever. The magnum reciever is the SB2.

And yes, the .454 Casull is made to run 65 000 psi, not 40,000. Big difference.

In a sturdy firearm, you can run 45 colt to 40,000 psi, which is still impressive. Like I said, the jury is still out on whether or not the surivor qualifies.

I looked into the survivor quite a bit, but was deterred by mediocre accuracy reports (in addition to the SB1 reciever), even when guys D&T and scoped them. Seems like about 3" @ 50 yards was what I recall guys getting, which is not good enough for me. I was also wanting to use it primarily as a single shot "heavy .45" rifle, with the .410 thing being more of a side note. I never did get one, due to the stuff I mentioned.
