Does any one know sussex barrel? any significance?
I had a sporterized Enfield No 4 with Sussex stamped on it, apparently a British company that converted rifles post-war into sporters. It had a full-length barrel with front sight and bayonet lugs.
Sussex barrels are made in the UK and are a hammer forged barrel. They just started production a short time ago and are a class act company. The owner is a very knowledgeable manufacturer, engineer and shooter.
