SVI Infinity...

Well, I've been looking at getting a high end gun for IPSC standard Div. The two names I keep hearing thrown around are STI and SVI.

Now I know the gun doesn't make the shooter but I don't mind paying for high quality. So I decided to put in a gun design and get a price quote from SVI. It came back at around $5000 without any mags. On the other hand the comparable STI Gun is about $3000 (not sure if it comes with mags).

Did some snooping around for info on the SVI guns and all I seem to find is reviews for friggin airsoft guns. Can anyone tell me a bit about SVI guns and why every one says there so good? I hope it isn't one of those "well, it costs the most so it must be the best" kind of things

Any help thrown my way would be greatly appreciated. Even if I don't end up shooting standard Div. this will be one of those guns I will keep for the rest of my days.
