Hello all! There is a bayonet on Ebay for sale and so far it is over $400. It is in nice condition but I can't understand why the bidding is so high on it. Anybody have any info why? Here is the link:

Is it possible someone had a refurb, cleaned it with toilet bowl cleaner after removing the wood grips and then refinish and replaced the grips? Looks like it is in too good of condition especially since the belt loop is missing(may have been removed after bayonet was stripped?). Or maybe it's a non-refurb that someone cleaned up? What do you guys think?

400 seems awfully high, maybe 200 or 250 is more the going price. I have one or two that look brand new and the blade still sitting in cosmoline, and others look a little more used.

It's ebay--wanna buy a Mossberg .22 sling for $95.00 or a Mossberg 46B stock for $135.00. Depending on the day, prices often go waaaay overboard. As mentioned, $200.00 to $250.00 is more in the range.
