Hey there,

I've been seeing a lot of SVT-40's on the EE which include a bayonet.

Is there a source for these someone where I am presently unaware of? (bayonet)

Collector's Source

Or try eBay. Deal's happen every now and then, but expect to pay in the $200 and up range.

Corwin-Arms has tried/is trying to get them in from storage in whatever super secret East block coal mine he gets his fine surps from, but so far no luck.

The bayos are far more rare than the rifles, so expect them to be priced accordingly.

Ohh, and before anyone mentions it... Yes, I know Collector's Source really bends you over on pricing... But for some things, they're the only ones who have it, and if you want what they're selling...

We have the bayonets, not too many but few. They are ours we already paid for them 7 months ago. They were ready to leave Poland in February, we had all the paper work for them (Since they are blades older then 25 years they do require permission and inspection of Polish Ministry of Culture to determine their value to Polish Culture).
All was done and ready to go but one of the bigger US military surplus dealers was really after them and started to complaint that they were not given a chance to buy them (usually means they get it free or half free from the Polish Government). Customs raised the question of origin when they were ready to go if they were made in Poland or they were made in the USSR.
We had to ship them back for new Paper work. Paper work is almost done and may be with luck they will finally arrive

Any idea what your rough selling price will be on them? So I'll know how much to save up between now and when you get them in?

Excellent, thanks for the info Martin. I'll pick one up off you guys when they arrive.

Price will be very reasonable

WooHoo! Please let us know here first so the CGN crowd can make them disappear ;)

They're harder to get than the rifles, so I'll pick up one or two in anticipation of getting a couple more SVT's to attach to them.

I think we should try and get Martin elected for Public Safety Minister, if not PM. Think of the good he good do with gov't money - an SVT and a crate of ammo for every Canadian, with a bayo for "when that deer I wuz huntin' charged."
