Over on the Corwin-Arms sub forum, someone asked what he had in the works for us this coming spring and summer, and Martin dropped this bombshell...

They were damped under coal. Coal was lying there untouched since mid 70 since they switched heating system to natural gas. They still have to move around 20 metric tones of old coal may be some other goodies will be there

Now, I'm dimly aware of the bureaucratic hoops Martin has to go through to get antique blades out of Poland (believe it or not, it involves permission from the Ministry of Culture in Poland, and it's generally harder to get the export permit for knives than it is for guns), so this will likely take months to finalize, but Martin has pulled through for us enough times that...

Have faith, real bayos for your SVT's are on their way.
 
i got one of his polish naval storage Svt 40's for Christmas, so thats a possibility :p

More likely some commie official was short on or skimming the coal shipments and used what ever was handy to bulk up the pile. Things folks will do to stay out of the Gulag!
