Hey guys,

So I looked around and I couldn't really find a thread that answered my questions, which are:

1) can you still purchase SVT-40's by the crate (15 or 20)

2) estimation on how much would it cost? would you get a discounted price for buying awesomeness in bulk?

3) who would be willing to find and sell such a crate?

This is basically all theoretical at this point. I'd be interested from an investment standpoint, as well as the possibility of finding some really nice examples hidden in crates.

P.S. no, I am not trying to start a secret milsurp army
 
Theres people here who know more than I do, but my understanding is that you would pay just as much for a crate as you would buying individuals. Could call up PSMil and see what sort of price they'll give you.

You would absolutely not get a significant "bulk discount".
 
For a crate full of rifles - with present pricing probably $300/rifle and generally the crate is free. You sometimes get tools, pouches and slings inside and 2x sets of gas wrenches/stock take down tools.

If you just want the wood storage crate - generally about $30-50 for the 15x rifle crates when they were common. Sometimes they would come with or without dividers. However - crates have dried up - most of the wood crates came from Ukraine exports. So probably looking at $30-80 for a crate these days.
