SVT-40 drum magazine

I wouldn't be surprised if it caused feeding issues. It's a rimmed cartridge.

Bren LMG's seemed to have no glaring issues with handling a rimmed round. Yes it's a more difficult design to engineer, true.
But it's like the fellow a page or two back that commented on 10 rds being not that effective... it pretty much made you big dog on the battlefield in WW2.
Heck the FSU designed the Dragunov to use a 10 rd magazine utilizing a rimmed rd...some folks here would give a kidney to have one of them.
Different time and a different place. 10 rds and a rimmed cartridge now, madness.
Then... please!

That is not 15 rnds AVS-36 mag Tyler, that is 20 rnds Lahti-Saloranta magazine. It probably could be adapted (and probably AVS-36 mag could be adapted too). BTW this is staged picture and I read somewhere that maybe mag is not really inserted, but I think it is just adapted to fit. What is the point of posing with non-working mag, while there were enough of original ones.

Here's something to disturb your sleep my friend, pictures of Lithuanian insurgents.

And this is something that was noted as "experimental SVT magazine adapted for Mosin Nagant rifle" but it looks slightly different from other pictures of experimental drum magazine.
