SVT 40 Firing Pin Retaining Pin Help

I had to use a punch in mine.....

Taking it out was not the tricky part....getting it back in FLUSH is! And you need the pin to be flush or else you can't load the bolt carrier back.
 
Mine would not come out at all,and of course the harder you beat on it the more it gets flared out.

So I put my bolt under the drill press and drilled the sucker out,made a new pin from a 3mm drill bit,problem solved.nice slip fit !
