SVT 40 Magazines back in stock

I was going to post this exact same video! Thanks to this video I was able to get the magazine inserted without any problem.

Except.

With me there is always an except. The bolt misses by a hair the lip of the cartridge to insert it into the firing chamber. I mean a hair. For the life of me I don't know what to do about it.
 
I got it to fit for the most part, but the problem I am having with mine is that the bolt won't stay open and the bullets don't feed properly unless I reposition the follower after each casing ejection. I don't know if I have to shim it or what. I am blaming it on the follower. Trying to think of some ideas in the meantime.
