SVT-40 VS M305 & Vz 58. SVT-40 Has Better Accuracy When?

I've very interested in seeing results from others. I'll check to see if my barrel is coming into contact with the stock right now. What really impressed me was the 1 3/8" group at 50 meters. If I would of shot more that day, only had 20 rounds, I probably could of got a 3" 5 shot group at 100 meters.

I'm glad too see your getting good accuracy out of your svt40 mine auto ejects the cleaning rod so I haven't
Shot much with it but it's always been pretty accurate. I think the svt40 has a reputation for
being inaccurate that it doesn't deserve. Most people on YouTube have horrible technique and flinch hard
while shooting the svt40. Must flinch from the blast because it hardly kicks at all. Also you can't compare a milsurp
shooting surplus ammo to anything new shooting factory ammo . In short it takes a little fiddling to get a 60+ year
old rifle working right and the shooter needs to learn what each individual rifle likes as far as load, hold and setup.

Awesome. Can't wait to try it out after this. I'm out of non-corrosive 7.62x54R so I'll have to wait. No gun shops with in quick driving distance.

Good ammo is everything where accuracy is concerned. I shoot corrosive surplus Bulgarian circle 10 as my rifle loves it. I have to thoroughly clean my rifle after each outing but it's a small price to pay for good results.

You do not know that if have not tried it without it.

Actually I do. When I go out shooting for more than a couple hours I take the rod out because it'll start to fall out on its own just from the concussive blasts and I noticed no change at all between having it in, or taking it out

Then you have tried it without it.

Do you use a scope, or just the iron sights ?
