BUT, an unrefurb, unfired, unissued all match Russian SKS, that's an investment to keep aside in the guns locker.
Some milsurp will perform in very short time. 3 years ago M44 was 169$ today is 400$.
 
with the amount of mosins out there anyone who thinks 7.62x54r milsurp will disappear is kind of dreaming.
The price for it may increase a bit in the future but i doubt it will ever be over 50Cents per shot and more likely hover around 25-30 cents per shot then Norinco or tula will start producing more.
Its not as if tula cant make more rounds if they sell all the old stuff and they will if there is demand thats just how it goes.
