Svt-40

Ok, you can't tell from the pictures you've taken. Easy solution - pop out your entire trigger assembly and take pictures of that. I have eight of these rifles on regular stocks, naval stocks and AVT stocks and all my trigger assemblies are the exact same. A real AVT 40 will have a different trigger assembly. I can put up pictures of mine after you put yours up for comparison if you want. If you don't know how to pop it out, there's a sticky up under milsurps titled SVT40 with pictures and everything for you...

If its an AVT-40 it was both semi and full auto. Full auto sear removed. So now no auto. Still have the semi auto. So i guess if its a AVT-40 sell it to americians and many some money. if not I still have a svt-40 for sale.

The US state department will not allow a semi auto svt-40 to be imported into the US much less a full auto avt-40.Thats why the svt-40 already in the states is worth so much more there.

Hello DJdeadly, You say, you have five SVT-40, if you still have one apart, can I see detailed pics of trigger mechanism, then I'll know what I have. Does all your five lever selectors(safeties in your case) have a hole in them or are they solid? And your safeties do they swing both ways or just one way? and which way does it swing. I here the SVT-40 is a bi*ch to take apart and bigger bi*ch to get back together is this right? Does all your SVT-40's have narrow trigger guards or the wider ones? Sorry for all the questions but that's how you learn new things.

Oh man sorry bout that, Nine. quite a collection. I seen the pics. Also seen the SVT-40 field strip pics. Can I just quickly remove the trigger assembly or have I got to do a complete field strip to remove trigger assembly? I also have two factory packages of ammo 7.62x54 wrapped in waxed paper tied in string plus another 50 rounds in stripper clips, what would ammo be worth?
