In the US a regular SVT will fetch $1200. $750 is cheap.

Goy my sniper SVT at the Canadian Tire in Fredericton N.B. for $259.00. Also found a 54 Ishvek [ no refirb marks ] for $189.00 and a 1935 hex Nagant for $125.00 that now sits in a beautiful Boyds stock.I guess I have a $750.00 rifle now!

We can pretend its a free country. We take it in the a$$ everyday. We vote in a liberal he puts a thing called a gst tax on everything and "WE PAY IT"!!! And some people said it was a good thing. Gst is like being punched in the face every time you buy something. Right now the USA is trying to panic the public saying they are broke. We all know what is coming. The F ing gst in the USA. They have nearly convinced the public it would be a good thing to pay more tax.

No scope as of yet due to price of $550.00 or more for the bloody things. Always serchin for a scope set up or a bayonete but prices are out of wack.

Even though I like the intent of the below rant, it was the PC's who brought in GST, but then again it was the Conservatives that dropped it from 7% to 5%. It was actually Chretien's election promise that "I would axe the tax" that helped him get elected, but in the end we ended up paying 7% tax for another eight years.
