mine was shooting to the right last week. Adjusted the front sight when I got home, will never know if it shoots POA now. It's all im going to dream about
After the ban is announced in the Gazette, it takes 7 days to become effective.

That's not how they've presented the bans. Got a source that says that's how it works?
I checked it last ban. It has to be in the printed version which is published every Saturday but they have a deadline of 3 days, so it will be in the printed version next week, after that 3 days, no matter what they say.
Unless it was in the printed version last Saturday.

The SVTs, the AG42s, the M1s (unrestricted model) are all unregistered, and the RCMP does not know where or how many there are.
My bet would be much, much less than 10%.
