I bought that.. here it is installed. Its tight as HECK... You can adjust it forward or back... I'm not sure how far forward or back it was supposed to go. Thoughts?

Make sure you back off the set screws before sliding it on or it will bind.
It slid on a quarter of the way before i had to tap it on with a rubber mallet.

I hope you don't need to take it off again to disassemble/reassemble the rifle.

You do if you want to completely disassemble the rifle. Having said that, I am confident that this mount will return to zero like nothing else can.
