I bought that.. here it is installed. Its tight as HECK... You can adjust it forward or back... I'm not sure how far forward or back it was supposed to go. Thoughts?

Make sure you back off the set screws before sliding it on or it will bind.
It slid on a quarter of the way before i had to tap it on with a rubber mallet.

That is another option I can't use. I bought 4 of these rifles and none came with rails. I guess I need to buy a 5th.

These are the machined slots on either side of the receiver.

it took some fairly liberal action from the rubber mallet to get on past halfway, i dont see it moving even without the set screws which hold it rock solid.
I'll test it with my scope on christmas.

I seen that one and I'm not sure if you can see the front sight or if the underside of the rail blocks it or not

If you can see the rear sight then you can see the front sight.

you can use the iron sights at the 100m setting, basic battle sights..
this thing is solid, a buddy of mine is about to buy three

Low rings for a good cheek weld.

You do if you want to completely disassemble the rifle. Having said that, I am confident that this mount will return to zero like nothing else can.
