just spent a half hour on the phone with Mr Addley. He was really friendly and patient (it helps that I am too).
Apparently, there are some nuts out there who buy an item like this knowing full well what it does, then scream because they cant use stripper clips. (Look at the pictures, DUH). Anyways....
I'll make a new thread about it when it all gets ready but basically the results are:
1) Reports of forward movement are coming in, his own rifle fits so tight it wasnt an issue but other peoples are turning out to be looser. He is advising to torque the set screws harder and in addition he is engineering a special backplate that will wrap around the rear of the receiver and bolt onto the side screws of the mount. It will be tight, and ensure there is *ZERO* forward movement in the future. It will also establish a "proper" installation location for the mount, as there has been confusion as to how far forward/back to install it.
** Anyone who wants them can email him and they will get them free of charge. They should be ready next week, he is starting work on it today.

2) Ejecting brass hitting scope: His own brass hits the scope 1 time out of 50 or so he says, while mine seems to hit 40 times out of 50. He is going to work with me on placing my scope a bit better to avoid the big optics being right over the ejection port but otherwise cant explain it.
3) Unable to zero scope because too high on medium rings and cant use low rings without hitting mount: Other scopes will be able to use low rings. My scope is a bit fancy and has a larger body where the turrets are. He suggests putting a layer of electrical tape on the underside of the rear scope ring to give it a tiny adjustment if needed, but as it sits it should still zero at 200 yards or so. Not very versatile... but we're going to work on it together a bit more and try some different rings he's got that worked well before.
4) Damage from bolt carrier handle: He says if I want to send it back to him he will re-work the item and re-anodize it, whatever it needs.. but if its not too serious i can hit it with a small file and square it up again..which is what I will end up doing to save time and trouble. Regardless, he committed to working with me and providing excellent customer service.... if I had asked for it, I'm 100% certain he would have given me a refund, but he really seems like he's committed to resolving the issues reasonably at no charge to his customers.
Also, **ADMINS** He has emailed the website asking to buy ad space several times, and got no reply. His account is banned now and he never even noticed, as he has little time for forums. He has no idea why. Maybe he emailed the wrong address or something, but please get on that. Nobody should piss on a new sponsor wanting to spend money on the site.
