The land in Manitoba was already super saturated. This is getting to be pretty crazy. At least it's looking like there might be a couple of days this week without rain. Stay safe.

^ Damn, our house flooded when I was a teen - it was an awful experience. 4ft in the garage, basement and our entire field was underwater. Fish were swimming in the back yard. Hopefully it stops raining and the water recedes.

^ that happened a few years ago in sask and Manitoba. Fields looked like lakes, they had huge waves and there was fish in em.

This is the Golf Course in Reston, Mb., about 20 miles south of Virden. There are about 600 miles of roads in the Municipality of Pipestone, and about 500 of those have "Road Closed" signs on them.

It is amazing the amount of water that came down. For those who are not familiar with the good road into Wolverine Supplies, that picture is of a small creek that you could usually jump over most times of the year.

My suggestion is to let Grumpy Wolverine take the Argo back so that he need not get his feet wet on the return trip. Then, wave good-bye to him as he is floated over the bank into the river, and notify Winnipeg he will be there in about three days. :)

Lived a flood prone area my whole life so I empathise with everyone affected. Impact here is minor for property damage (minus crops of course) and we are really thankful this rain didn't come at the same time as the spring thaw.

Stay safe everyone.

I figured this is why my order hadn't shipped yet ! Keep safe guys youve had it pretty rough the last few years ! I'm south central mb and we've gotten alot of water this year but not as bad as you guys! Keep up the good work wolverine and crew

I remember a few jokes from when I used to live in that province.

Manitoba - The province where you go to bed with farmland and wake up with beach front property.

St. Agathe town hall - canoe left at the church.

Manitoba's four seasons - Damn Snow, Damn Flood, Damn Construction, Damn It's Almost Winter Again.

Manitoba - Land of 100,000 Lakes...except in spring when they all get together for a family reunion.

thing is this area hasn't been flood prone. My dad is 91 and he has never seen anything like this around here. Guess it is a good excuse to fire up the smoker and has a good drink of some medicinal fluid.
