SW ont rabbit hunt PICS up

ok guys i need to know who is coming on saturday FOR SURE. if you are coming for sure then send me a private message and i will send you a meeting place and time. i need to know who is coming for sure and ill give you my cell phone just incase so that the group isnt sitting around waiting for someone that isnt gonna show.

once again, PM me if you are coming for sure. the date will be this saturday feb 10th.
 
No gear for me yet. :( I have extra long legs, so finding something for this saturday is challenging. I'm a new hunter, and last fall for the deerhunt the jeans were OK. I will try to get something tomorrow evening, I hope for the best.

just wear long johns and track pants dude. when rabbit hunting you walk and walk then you walk some more :D on my legs i just have long johns, pair of normal pants then tore up camo pants. camo isnt need at all but i usually call crows while im taking a break.
 
S**t wish I didn't have to work let us know if you are going to do another one. Have a great hunt.

Looks like fun it's nice to hear that there are lots of guys around southern ont that want to head out! Next time I'm thinking of going out but looking for a partner I'll put a post out! Maybe I'll even get more rabbits than Carlos!!
 
They didn't stop. They just run like hell. Carlos stopped 2 of them. :)

That was a 6.1 km walk in 4:15 minutes. Based on the tracks there must have been another few dozens rabbits waiting for the slow cooker. :)

I have a #### job which causes serious sleeping disorder (taking care of 1400 servers, every 2nd week on-call) but yesterday night I didn't have any problem with sleeping. Hunting is a lifesaver!
 
it was a good day with "beerdog" and "rudi" out there. too bad it was too windy and the rabbits didnt really wanna play. on a normal day on my own i see alot of rabbits but i think the wind made them hole up. still beats sittin at home though.

i missed one and then beerdog missed one shortly afterwards. i made the "3rd times a charm call". not long after i kick one out and yell rabbit and beerdog rolls it:cool:

we covered alot of ground and i definatly gave these guys a good workout. about halfway through they were up for going to checkout another place but when we got back to the house they werent so enthusiastic :p :D beerdog ended up with 2 cottontails.

hopefully ill be able to get out again before the season closes at the end of february.
