Brought it out to the range today for the first time. Seemed to shoot well. Everything was fine with good quality ammo. Loaded up some crappy Remington golden bullet bulk .22, worked okay then non-stop failure to extract. Figures right? Cheap ammo.

Nope! Extractor fell out onto the table, plunger and spring flew out nowhere to be found again.

I contacted Al Flaherty's hoping they'll replace these little bits for me. Not normal to be losing parts of your BCG on a brand new pistol.

Should’ve bought a Ruger Mk4.....

I joke. That’s an unfortunate situation. The bad news is I suspect you’ll be on the hook to deal with the S&W warranty centre. The good news is that in Canada that means a call to Murray Charleton; you’ll be back up and running in no time.

Im not worried. Its $10 worth of parts. Just a disappointing and premature end to what should have been hours of breaking in a new gun.
