SW22 Victory - Which Optic?

I've been pondering having my P10C milled for an optic but have never used one.
Now I've had my SW22 Victory for quite some time and I figured I may as well use the rail.
What reasonably priced optic should I get to test the waters?
Don't want to spend too much, about $200 preferably less, but something that would last if I decided to keep it.
If I end up liking the dot/holo sight, I'll get an RMR for the P10C.

I have a bushnell trs-25 Variant (Chinese) on mine, looks to be in your price range. Should be able to pick one up for around $100

CTCS has a smoking deal on a Primary Arms red dot right now, I think they are $119? Can't go wrong at that price, discount is automatic at checkout

A bit more then your looking to spend, but the most accurate handgun I own...

If I end up with the Bushell or PA, I could mount it on a shotgun if I don't like it for handguns?
As in could it handle 12ga recoil?
 
They may do alright, I wouldn’t bet the farm on it though. I have a Vortex Sparc on my Ruger Mark IV & for the price it’s a great sight. I know it stands up to a 12 ga. Because I have one the same mounted on a 12ga pump

Many TRS-25's have seen shotgun duty with good reviews, and PA make a great product, I would put either on a shotgun without a second thought. Lots of reviews on YouTube if you want to have a look. Good luck making your choice, I've owned and used both on AR's and both have been excellent

I just found a brand spanking new TRS-25 in my parts box while looking for stripper clips...
I don't even remember buying it. Still new in the box with a half dead battery.

Fits nice but I'll need to practice getting used to an optic on a handgun.
