Sw500 oh my!!!

Dirtybarry will wear out long before that 629...so long as he stays away from those Buffalo loads berrrrrrrh. (my thumb tingles just looking at the box.:p)

I've found after 3 rounds you don't even feel the tingle anymore, it's just all numb by then LOL. Have put a couple boxes now through the Redhawk, 6 per range visit to end off a session just for ####s 'n giggles - certainly gets attention then...love the boom and smoke show ;)

I am definitely feeling some tingles.... :adult: Either lottery investments have to pay off soon or I might have to debase myself to the lowest of the low and get into politics. Though hopefully the world develops a taste for high quality goat #### before things get that bad.

Very cool gun, I've handled one and saw somebody shoot one other one once. I wonder how far $70K would go and if shooting lots of .500 would make them grow back.

Where did you buy the Buffalo Bore ammo BillD? Not that I want to buy that particular loading, but they have some other neat loads for handguns. I have not seen there pistol ammo for sale anywhere in Canada, though i think a company in Chilliwack or Abbotsford was looking into it(?). Frankly I should just start reloading but I just don't get out enough.

This is a good example of stupidity and candidate for the Darwin award.

"Yes, this is the SECOND time this has happened with this gun." The vid poster already had one incident but still choose to allow multiple rounds for newbies. And the retarded "just shoot" comment. DUMB & DUMBER. Wonder why the rest of the world thinks gun owners are dumb hicks.
The way the knucklehead in the green shirt slaps the cylinder shut, my money would have been on him and a 500 S&W mishap...but I was wrong!? This is live and a good example of how quickly accidents can happen.

*love the back stop btw*f:P:2: Merica! :sok2

The same DA happened to the young girl I mentioned, the notable exception being she was shooting her boyfriends 4 inch S&W 500. Instead of the 8 inch barrels muzzle ending up on the left outside of the head as the video above demonstrates, the 4 inch barrel she was shooting came straight back under her chin. Wham:(

A tragedy due to very poor judgement. Boyfriend is totally accountable for that one. Wonder if there was any followup action.
Bad judgement like putting that fully loaded Uzi (on auto) in the hands of that 9 year old girl in Las Vegas last year. Tragic outcome but at least she didn't kill herself accidentally.

Scope scars above an average looking girl's eye isn't cool, even a down right ugly girl! ... Hell, it still ain't cool above a dudes eye!

my old man did it to himself when I was a kid........this is what happens when city kids try and do farm kid stuff........this, and combines start on fire, and 80 acre fields get disc'd to look like the sodbusters had just been there.......

Got it from Prophet River, they did have some other types in stock too at the time. I reload for the .44, but they're still pretty tame in comparison LOL

Yikes!! No redneck supervision can be a bad thing!

Yup.....

A flaming Cockshutt 545 isn't a good thing....!!!

My grandpa only had one leg (he was a pirate), so imagine a one legged man waving his arms and trying to get the attention of said city kid while the combine looks like an old coal loco!!!

Bloody hell....thank god that my my phenotype is more German than Scottish (maternal vs. paternal)....

How long can a S&W .500 last?

I bought mine (6.5") used with about 1000-1500 rounds through it as i recall and I've put about 2500 through it. I recently changed the houge grips as the old one got a hole in the back lol. there is always little bits of rubber in my hand after every shot. I feed mine 350gr up to 700gr cast bullets and very light recoil up to full power.
