Some 40 years ago, I bought a set of swaging dies made by Ted Smith (SAS) of Oregon. I used them sparingly when I got them. Decided to pull them out of the closet and make some .22 projectiles. I also bought a de-rimming die to take the rim off of spent 22LR cases and use them for jackets. Now I have a few hundred bullets that need cleaning prior to loading. Just wondering if anybody else is doing this and how do you clean the bullets? I heard "citric acid" bath, tumbling. tumbling with BB's to give them a copper colour ect. Looking for ideas!

I clean bullets prior to coating them - started off just leaving them in an alcohol bath for 15-30 minutes. Currently, I use wet ceramic media (Cabelas used to sell it, but now discontinued - it's from Sagebrush in the US) in a RCBS vibratory tumbler for 15-30 minutes, then a quick alcohol bath to help them dry.
