What do you do with the hide?
Well the thought was to get it tanned, maybe try making a knife sheath, bullet wallet etc...
Wifey says no way. So it's gone to dump...

thanks. I was just curious. I'm a fan of using as much of the animals as is reasonable, but wth to do with a moosehide that's within reason - not much I guess.
^ Well I think I'll just hit Halford Hide and see what I can buy there. I'm sure they sell tanned leather.

Thanks for taking the time to post all the pictures. Interesting with the electric fence to ward off the bears. We never have to do that here in Ontario. I hunted out of a camp set up like that for about 15+ yrs. and our most common pest was skunks, you had to be real diplomatic in asking them to leave.

Awesome pictorial! And congrats on taking a nice bull! Beautiful area, I grew up having a trap line line around freeman lake, some of the best hunting, fishing and trapping in ab before the treatment plant.
