Swapping Mosin bolt bodies...

i have a second Mosin bolt body with a bent bolt handle i would like to use on my Mosin.

if i change the bolt body - but keep the original bolt head (with the locking lugs) - then i should be OK? i assume there should be no need to re-check headspace since the floating bolt head determines it?
i intend to check firing pin protrusion with the mosin tool.
