swaro tds problem

I puchased a swarofski 3-10 power TDS It will not give me enough elevation to get my bullet into the bull at 100 meters. I have it on a steyr model m 3006 with medium mounts. Is this nomal or is there something wrong with it? It will move side to side and down but not up . the dile still turns but the scope bullet will only come up to 1 inch lower than bull.

Need a little more info. Is this a new mount or are you replacing an existing scope that worked fine? If its new its possible you might have the wrong bases that are canting the scope. Does the elevation change at all ie if you move it down does POI move? Not likely that the swaro is defective but anything is possible.

Sounds like a mount problem, worst case scenario is a need to shim scope in rings or rings on rec.

Get better mounts. Sounds like you have some cheaper/no name mounts. I haven't encountered this problem with my Swarovski.

not the mounts

The mounts have always been on this rifle , they come from the factory. They are high end good quality. I had a zeiss 4.5 to 14 on here before and it worked fine. Thanks for the info though.
