Swarovski Habicht

I have a guy wanting to trade me a swaro habicht 2.5-10x42. I've never seen one and we're a couple hours apart. Would be going on a 300wm for hunting. Can't find much on these scopes. How good of glass are they? What kind of value would one have? Sounds like it's pretty well brand new

I bought a 4-12x50
Didn’t like it, glass was fine but my ocd kicked in
And now it’s replaced with a meopta
I probably won’t buy another swarvoski tbh

Have two. 4-12 and 6-18

Comparing a sword made by Hattori Hanzo to every other sword not made by Hattori Hanzo. Once youve looked through good glass, your other scopes seem so blah. Not every one can wear good.glass.

Out of.curiousity.......how much?

Really good scopes. I have a couple Habicht optics. My fav is a 3-10X42 with the #4 reticle on my 375H&H. Excellent clarity and well built. The Habicht was replaced by the Z3 line.

Have had one for about 25 years that I bought new and has been one of my main hunting optics. Can't really fault it in any way. Had a few other's that have come and gone.

The only reason it's not getting much use these days is due to switching to illuminated optics on S&B Zeniths and Polars mostly.

For me, i'll likely never buy a non-illuminated scope going forward.

Ended up doing the trade. Great glass and lighter weight. Haven't had a chance to look through it at low light but happy so far
