Swarovski Z6i or Zeiss Victory HT illuminated

Some illuminated reticles wash out really badly in bright sunlight.....to the point you can't see them. I agree the Swaro reticle is a bit fine for my liking on a hunting reticle but some seem to love them.

I have a Zeiss HT 3-12x56, the glass is phenomenal. On dark overcast mornings and evenings it really lets me see well into the shadows. The illuminated dot is great when the crosshairs start to disappear on a dark background. The illumination speeds up acquisition got quicker shots too.

I have both a Z3 3-10x42 BRX and a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 (with color Ballistic turrets) on my hunting rifles. I love them because of the light weight. I have not compared them to the Zeiss Victory scope. AS far as eye relief and clarity goes - I love Swarovski.

I almost bought a schmidt&bender but have decided on an illuminated zeiss instead. I think the ht glass will be hard to beat in low light. 2.5-10x50 is the one im leaning towards
