SWAT/ERT, what Eotech are you guys using?

We have been providing Aimpoint units to some tactical units who are phasing out the Eotechs, our most popular T/E units are the T1 and then the M4. Alot of end users want more battery life and great reliability in their products.

yep.

I think the reliability and durability of the Aimpoints alone are going to make them more popular with SWAT guys.

I want to know what model Eotechs are currently being fielded by active SWAT/ERT Units. I am assuming 512.a65/1, 552.a65/1 and probably
517 series as well. I do not want this thread to turn into speculation or a debate on Aimpoint versus Eotech. I currently run M2 COMP,M3 COMP, Eotech 553, 511,Trijicons and Elcan Spectre DR`s and know the differences. So, if you are an active ERT/SWAT member or armourer for such.....I would like to know what series Eotech you guys are running.

Who cares what a specific unit is running? Analyze at your own needs and find an optic that addresses them rather than mimicking a unit that may or may not have the same mission profile as you.

If you look hard enough you can find tac teams using everything from Tascos to S&Bs...

Obviously I care, I asked the question afterall. When did I say that I planned to "mimick" any particular unit? I asked this question out of general interest and asked that only those who actually have specific knowledge or experience in this area respond. I don`t mean to be rude but I am looking for specific info.
 
I'm not trying to be an ####### but it's just such an open ended question it doesn't really make any sense to ask.

"Question for racecar/rally drivers. Which size engine does your car have and what size rims are you running?"

Sounds pretty vague doesn't it?
 
Well I am not ERT and don't play one on the interweb but I was on a package recently and two ERT members who I was chalked with were both running C8 CQBs 10" guns with Eotech 551s. They hated them and complained about the lack of battery life; mine pooched on a course years ago too. One of the operators said he just left his irons up all the time.

Sorry EC...that should read rifle combatives package...though I suspect you knew exactly what I meant and were just being contrary...it's cool, I know the type.;):D
